When Susan Byer, a close friend and co-worker of David, became the sole proprietor of the business in 2014, David expressed surprise that she didn't change the name to make it her own. Susan was determined to operate the business under its original name, as David was still by her side, emeritus. Since David's passing in 2018, upon meeting anyone new, Susan has continuously found herself recounting the history and explaining that she is actually the owner.
Thus, Dancin' Dave's Festival Camping has evolved into Dancin' Days Festival Camping. The decision to change the name was not taken lightly. The new name encompasses the essence of the company's mission – to celebrate the joyous days of music, dancing, and camping at festivals.
